Description
The fpa is a voluntary organisation whose aim is to advance the sexual health and reproductive rights and choices of all people throughout the UK. The fpa provides a national service in the UK providing information, training, research and publications. The following services are provided.
A national helpline and information service for the public and professionals. Handling over 100,000 enquiries a year, it provides information on contraception and sexual health including information on service provision in the UK. Enquirers may also write for information.
Consumer tested leaflets and publications on contraception and sexual health are produced for the public and professionals. Fpa Direct (Tel. no. above) offers a complete mail order service. Extensive stock includes books, videos and resources on contraception, sexual health and sex education. Contact the number above for details.
A reference library holding all the major journals and publications on contraception and sexual health is available by appointment.
